Shading Problem - Shadowband Misalignment

Description

When the shadowband has moved to the second stop, known as the sun-blocked position, some or all of the diffuser is exposed to direct beam radiation. Functioning properly, the shadow from the shadowband completely covers the diffuser during this measurement. If direct beam radiation strikes the diffuser during the sun-blocked measurement, the MFRSR irradiance measurements across all the channels are negatively impacted. This has cascading adverse effects on Langley plots, aerosol optical depth calculations, Angstrom exponent, and more.
